Different from the traditional reversible Thermochromic Pigment, the irreversible temperature change pigment is a onetime pigment and cannot be turned back after the change.

For irreversible thermochromic pigment , we have powder and ink form in the market.

* The irreversible thermochromic powder is only irreversible in a certain range.

It will become reversible type below -15 ℃。That's mean as long as the temperature is not lower than -15 ℃, the color is irreversible, But for different factories, the technology is different,  the range is also different.

* Irreversible thermochromic ink is also irreversible in a certain range. it will become reversible below -5 ℃ or above 150 ℃.

Currently, we can provide this powder (Or ink), the available temperature choose is quite little.

1. irreversible thermochromic ink for water-based

＞65 ℃ irreversible liquid ink , from colorless to red,

＞65 ℃ irreversible liquid ink，from colorless to black,

＞65 ℃ irreversible liquid ink ，from colorless to rose red,

＞65 ℃ irreversible liquid ink ，from colorless to green,

＞65 ℃ irreversible liquid ink ，from colorless to blue ,

＞80 ℃ irreversible liquid ink ，from colorless to black,

＞130 ℃ irreversible liquid ink ，from colorless to black,

We provide these products to Anti-counterfeit label customer.

Kindly note the maximum processing temperature does not exceed 150 degrees, otherwise it will become reversible thermochromic ink.

＞ 55 ℃ irreversible thermochromic ink, from Black to yellow,

＞ 55 ℃ irreversible thermochromic ink, from Orange-red to yellow,

The two items can only use for paper and fabric water-based printing, not used for printing on glass substrates and cannot be used outdoors.

As long as the temperature is not lower than -5 ℃, the color is irreversible.

Kindly note the appearance of these pigments are liquid. The solid content is 25%.

2.Thermochromic powder for solvent and water-based

＞55 ℃, from orange-red to yellow,

＞55 ℃, from black to yellow

＞55 ℃, from purple to blue

＞55 ℃, from black to green

＞55 ℃, from black to blue

And the particle size is about 5um, as long as the temperature is not lower than -15 ℃, the color is irreversible

Recommend processing temperature should not exceed 50℃.

＞60 ℃ irreversible powder, from yellow to colorless.

This product are yellow color between -20 ℃-60℃，

If the temperature below -20 ℃ or higher than 60 ℃, the powder color is colorless color.

Storage time:

If your ink is water-based and didn`t add any solvent, the thermochromic ink can store half a year in a low-temperature environment.

If your ink is solvent-based and also adds strong solvents such as yellow ethyl ketone to dilute the ink, we recommended using the ink within a week.

The best way is to mix the ink on the spot and use it immediately.

Because if stored for too long, the strong solvent will corrode the capsule wall of the thermochromic powder, causing the pigment to lose its activity and thus not to change color.
