Recommend Application
iSuoChem® holographic gold glitter flakes are precision-cut PET effect materials designed to add bright, color-shifting sparkle to a wide range of decorative surfaces and finished products. Their flaky structure and holographic reflection make them suitable for printing, coatings, plastics, crafts and other visual-effect applications.
Printing and Coatings
PET holographic glitter can be used in screen printing, paper printing, decorative paints and surface coatings. It creates a distinctive gold holographic effect on textiles, leather, footwear materials, printed products and coated decorative surfaces.
Plastics and Decorative Products
Holographic laser glitter powder adds reflective sparkle and a stronger three-dimensional appearance to plastic articles and decorative materials. It is suitable for packaging, ornaments, display items and other products requiring an eye-catching special effect.
Crafts, Stationery and Seasonal Decoration
Gold holographic glitter flakes are also used in crafts, stationery, candles, festive decorations and decorative accessories. Fine and larger glitter flakes can create different visual textures, from a refined shimmer to a more prominent sparkling finish.

We understand that consistent quality from batch to batch is essential for buyers of holographic gold glitter flakes. Our quality control covers both the manufacturing process and final inspection. For each batch of PET holographic glitter, an automatic applicator is used to prepare a standardized color card for color comparison, while microscopic inspection checks the laser glitter powder for unwanted lines, impurities and uneven or defective cutting. This process helps maintain reliable color, clean flake appearance and consistent precision-cut quality across bulk orders.

What Is Holographic Glitter and How Does It Create a Rainbow Effect?
Holographic glitter is a reflective effect material whose rainbow appearance comes from periodic microscopic grating structures on polymer film. Research on PET shows that surface patterns with dimensions comparable to visible wavelengths can produce holographic coloration and wavelength-dependent diffraction.
When white light strikes the grating, light waves associated with adjacent periodic features interfere, directing different wavelengths toward different angles. The visible colors depend on the grating geometry and the relative positions of the light source, glitter flake and observer. As this geometry changes, different wavelengths reach the eye, creating moving rainbow flashes.[1]
In holographic gold glitter, the gold-toned reflection and spectral effect are related but distinct. Reflective or color-forming components provide the body color, while the microstructure generates the shifting rainbow separation.Compared with conventional metallic glitter, holographic flakes display stronger diffraction-generated color travel rather than mainly base-colored specular flashes.
For industrial applications, grating replication, particle consistency and flake orientation all influence the final appearance. Precise embossing supports consistent reproduction of the microscopic structure, while controlled cutting supports flake-size and shape uniformity. In coatings and printing systems, flake orientation further affects the continuity and distribution of the visible holographic effect.[2]
