C.I. Pigment Red 166 exhibits excellent overall properties: excellent light resistance (grade 7-8), weather resistance, heat resistance (above 300°C) and outstanding migration resistance, especially in plasticized PVC, where it is almost completely non-bleeding. Compared with other pigments of the same hue, it performs better in migration resistance, light resistance and thermal stability. Compared with other pigments covering the same color range, the pigment has medium to good tinting strength and is suitable for high-end applications with strict performance requirements, mainly for the coloring of plastics, coatings and inks.
