Quality Assurance – AL Series Fluorescent Pigment
The AL Series thermoplastic fluorescent pigment is produced to defined technical specifications covering key physical and performance properties, helping support stable product quality for plastics coloring and other supported applications.
Quality control focuses on characteristics such as particle size, softening point, processing stability, color strength and brightness. The series also complies with EN 71-3 requirements for heavy metals, providing an additional quality reference for customers evaluating fluorescent pigments for industrial coloring applications.

2. 20kg/carton or 25kg/carton
How Does Processing Temperature Affect Fluorescent Pigment Performance in Injection Molding?
Processing temperature should be treated as a controlled operating window rather than simply set as low as possible. If the melt temperature is too low, higher polymer viscosity can make stable molding and uniform colorant distribution more difficult. Excessive thermal exposure, however, can alter dye distribution and optical behavior, potentially reducing fluorescent intensity or causing color shifts.[1]
The barrel setting alone does not represent the full thermal history experienced by the pigment. Injection-molding research shows that melt temperature is also influenced by screw rotation, back pressure, residence time and other processing conditions.[2] These variables should therefore be evaluated together when setting up production.
For the AL Series thermoplastic fluorescent pigment, heat stability for injection molding is specified below 195°C, with PP, PE and PVC listed as suitable applications within this range. If the required polymer processing temperature exceeds this limit, a higher-temperature fluorescent pigment grade should be evaluated instead.
