Pigment Red 48:2 is an ideal choice for coloring printing inks, industrial coatings, and various plastic products, producing vibrant, rich blue-red hues.

This pigment belongs to the 2B lake series and is chemically stable, maintaining its vibrant color without being affected by carriers. It exhibits a transparent, bluish-red color with high color saturation. Compared to similar pigments, its color is more bluish than PR48:1 and PR48:4, but more yellowish than PR57:1.

It offers excellent versatility. In the plastics industry, it exhibits no bleeding into soft PVC and withstands processing temperatures up to 230°C, making it suitable for injection molding, extrusion, and spinning of a variety of plastics, including HDPE, LDPE, and PP. In inks, it is often used as a standard red for gravure printing. However, for optimal lightfastness, it is recommended to use it in dark colors or at high concentrations.

Plastics and Rubber: Widely used in the coloring of PVC, PO (such as PP and PE), rubber, and EVA, it offers a cost-effective and excellent migration resistance.

Inks: Suitable for offset, water-based, solvent-based, and packaging printing inks, it is one of the key red colors in four-color printing.

Coatings: Suitable for industrial paints, decorative water-based/solvent-based coatings, and powder coatings.
