iSuoChem® Blue to orange heat changing pigment is made using microencapsulation technology. It uses tiny capsules that react to changes in temperature and turn into different colors.
We usually produce Cold changing or Heat changing Color-color heat changing pigment by adding fluorescent pigments as base colors.
For example, we will use (Orange thermochromic pigment + Blue fluorescent pigment) to produce Red to blue heat changing pigment.

Heat Changing Pigment?

iSuoChem® Injection grade Heat Changing Pigment can be applied to PP(Food grade), PE, PP, PS, PVC, EVA, PET, ABS, Nylon, Rubber and other plastics during injection or extrusion processes. Besides, iSuoChem® Heat Changing Powder can be applied to inks, coatings, textiles, paper, and makeups.
COLOR CHANGING PRINCIPLE
The Heat Changing Pigment changes color by expanding and contracting microcapsules.
BASE TEMPERATURES
Regular Temperatures: 5℃, 10℃, 16℃, 31℃, 33℃, 43℃, 45℃, 50℃, 65℃ and other degrees (All colors available).
Customized Temperatures: 70℃~130℃ (Color available: Red, Yellow, Green, Black in heat changing paint)
Max processing temperature is around 200℃ - 230℃ (less than 10 minutes).
